Audition Information

Sunday, July 24 @ 6PM and Tuesday, July 26 @ 7PM

Callbacks, if necessary: Thursday, July 28 @ 7PM

Location: Maple Shade Municipal Building, 200 Stiles Avenue, Maple Shade, NJ 08052

All Actors must be 11-16 years old to audition and must be able to pass for 13 years of age.

Please be prepared to sing 32 measures of a pop musical theatre piece or a song from the show. Please have full song prepared as you may be asked to sing more than 32 bars. Singing a Capella is not allowed for auditions. Please either an accompaniment track with no vocals. We will allow music on a phone due to conflict with accompanist.

There will be cold readings from the script and please be dressed appropriately for a dance audition.

**Parents – Please be aware of the material presented in the show before auditioning. While the show is much fun and full of energy, there may be some language or situations that you may deem inappropriate for your child. Remember, we are about to enter the minds of 13 year old children! 🙂

There is a $50 fee upon acceptance of role. Please note that due to an anticipated large turnout for auditions, not all children will be cast in the show.

Evan
A bright, nerdy boy who is excited to become a man. New in town and trying to find a place to fit in, he eventually becomes close with Patrice and Archie. Our story’s protagonist.

A shy, intelligent, bookworm. Archie’s best friend and Evan’s new friend.

The vain star quarterback. Leads a pack of popular boys, including Malcolm and Eddie.
