We are excited for our first ever teen run production! Auditions will be for all those ages 12-17. Please be prepared with 32 measures of a musical theatre piece in the style of the musical. Songs from the show are not allowed. Please make sure to bring sheet music or a backtrack CD. Vocals on the CD track and singing a capella for the audition is not allowed. Cold readings will take place at the audition.
**Anyone may audition, whether they are a resident of Maple Shade or not!
For this production, all facets of the show will be run by our teens. There will be a teen production panel consisting of students ages 15-19. The teen production team will be overseen by Michael Melvin and Jillian Starr-Renbjor. Please note that while the teen production team will oversee auditions, the adult team overseeing the production will choose the cast.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, August 9th at 3PM and 7PM. Auditions will be held at the Maple Shade Municipal Building, 200 Stiles Avenue, Maple Shade, NJ, 08052. We will add an audition date on August 10th if there is enough demand and overflow for auditions on August 9th. There will be a $40 production fee for all those cast in the production.
Rehearsals will begin in September and the schedule will be created based off of the availability and conflicts of the cast. Expect 2-3 nights of rehearsals per week.
