Summer Shows Revealed!

We are proud to announce our theatrical productions for this summer! For our adult theatre show, we will be performing

URINETOWN, a 3 time Tony award winning musical, is a hilarious tale of greed, corruption, love, and revolution in a time when water is worth its weight in gold. In a Gotham-like city, a terrible water shortage, caused by a 20-year drought, has led to a government-enforced ban on private toilets. The citizens must use public amenities, regulated by a single malevolent company that profits by charging admission for one of humanity’s most basic needs. Amid the people, a hero decides he’s had enough, and plans a revolution to lead them all to freedom!

And for our children’s summer theatre camp, we will be performing

If you thought you knew the story of “The Princess and The Pea,” you may be in for a walloping surprise! Did you know, for instance, that Princess Winnifred actually swam the moat to reach Prince Dauntless the Drab? Or that it may not have been the pea at all that caused the princess a sleepless night? Carried on a wave of beguiling songs, by turns hilarious and raucous, romantic and melodic, this rollicking spin on the familiar classic of royal courtship and comeuppance provides for some side-splitting shenanigans. Chances are, you’ll never look at fairy tales quite the same way again

The Maple Shade Arts Council “Reveal the show party” is on!

We have a great turn out! The food is good, everyone is watching The Wizard Of Oz from last year, and everyone is itching with anticipation as to what our next show will be!
